Altacor

ALTACOR® by Du Pont  is a specific insecticide to combat a wide range of lepidoptera that infest horticultural crops.  It belongs to the anthranilamide family of chemicals and is characterized by a nonneurotoxic mechanism of action.  The product mobilizes the calcium reserves in the muscular system of larvae, thereby compromising the ability to function. ALTACOR®  acts primarily by ingestion, causing the paralysis and subsequent death of the insect.
